Hi there everyone, my name is Sheldon Thomson and im from Brunswick Heads on the north coast of New South Wales just north of Byron Bay. I am planning an adventure from here in Byron Bay to Africa and and up through Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, Zanzibah, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, across in to Petra and Jordan Gallipoli in Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republic, through Europe including the Swiss Alps and then decide if I will turn right and go around the world or come home.
I hope to bring some smiles to not just myself but to the many kids throughout my trip.
My adventure on motorcycles is due to take place in 2011.
I hope to raise awareness and donations for Riders for Health, and collection of and the donating of football / soccer equipment for schools in Ethiopia in conjunction with Link Ethiopia, the collection of the gear is already underway Click on the links above to see the short videos to understand the charities we will be raising money, gear and awareness for.

Even if you know of someone, a teacher, a headmaster or anyone in the education department, by passing this imformation on you will be helping the kids.
One of my favourite sayings is “It maybe just a drop in the ocean but with every drop that ocean is closer to being filled”, thanks to everyone for all your support already and look forward to others getting on board as the journey unfolds.
